Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Capture Cams Productions Private Limited. By using our services and renting equipment from www.dslrforrenthyd.com, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully before proceeding with any bookings.
1. Documentation & Verification

Customers must cooperate with patience during the documentation and verification process, as we carefully review all details for security purposes.

The customer whose ID proof is submitted during booking must be present at the time of pickup. No substitutions or third-party collections are allowed.

To ensure the safety and security of our services and equipment, we require all clients—both registered and unregistered—to comply with our documentation process. Please review the following guidelines:

Mandatory Documentation: The documentation process is mandatory for both Registered and Unregistered clients.

For New Unregistered Clients: We will conduct a House Verification or send the equipment with an assistant, based on your equipment requirements. This service is chargeable at a nominal fee.

Original ID Proofs: Clients must provide three original ID proofs in the name of the person collecting the equipment. The rental order will not be handed to any other individual.

ID Proofs of Different Individuals: We do not accept ID proofs from one individual (e.g., ‘Customer A’) submitted on behalf of another (e.g., ‘Customer B’). The individual collecting the product must submit their own documents.

Validity of Documents: All provided documents must be valid at the time of the rental.

Proof Requirement for Categories 2 & 3: One valid proof from each category is sufficient.

Unacceptable ID Types: Laminated ID cards, digital soft copies, and duplicate PVC printed cards will not be accepted.

Local Address Proof: Payment transaction receipts are not considered valid address proofs. Only the latest utility bills showing the correct address will be accepted.

Local Documentation for Hyderabad Residents: Even if you are a Hyderabad resident with an Aadhar card showing your local address, category 2 documentation is still mandatory.

Tourists and Visitors: For tourists or visitors, a local reference person with their ID proof and contact details will be required.

Unacceptable ID Proofs for Service Category: PAN Card and Voter ID are not accepted for our service category as valid documents.

Invalid or Non-compliant ID Proofs: We will not proceed with the rental if the provided ID proofs are invalid or do not meet our documentation requirements.

Process Based on Legal & Police Department Guidance: Our documentation process is structured based on past experience and advice from the Police Department and our Legal Team.
2. Booking & Reservation

We accept bookings only with advance payment. Reservations cannot be confirmed without this.
-
As a small company, we do not hold equipment for clients who cannot make an advance payment, as we also accommodate walk-ins and other bookings.
3. Payments, Refunds, Re-Scheduling & Cancellations
-
Non-Collection: Reserved orders will be automatically canceled if not collected within 4 hours of the reserved date and time.

Non-Refundable Payments: Advance payments are non-refundable in the following cases:

Cancellation from the customer’s end within less than 72 hours before the reserved date and time.
-
Submitted ID proofs are invalid or do not meet our requirements.
-
Once the order is generated at pickup time or the reserved period begins, no refunds are available—even if the customer does not collect the products or returns them early.

No Re-scheduling: Bookings cannot be re-scheduled within less than 72 hours before the reserved date and time.

Advance Payment Reuse: Customers can reuse their advance payment within the next 30 days of a canceled booking under the following conditions:
-
Cancelled more than 5 days in advance: 25% of the advance payment can be used.
-
Cancelled more than 7 days in advance: 50% can be used.
-
Cancelled more than 10 days in advance: 75% can be used.
-
This option is available only with our approval and is subject to equipment availability.
-

Company’s Right to Cancel: We reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
-
No Refunds: We do not provide any refunds for cancellations of rental orders and reservations.
-
Security Deposits: Payments made as Security Cash Deposits for rented items will be refunded within 3-5 working days after the order is closed, provided there are no outstanding dues.
4. Pickups, Returns & Extensions

Personal Pickup Only: The customer who provided the ID proof must personally pick up and return the rented items. No home delivery or third-party app-based services (such as Rapido/Dunzo) are allowed for pickups or returns.

Check Condition at Pickup: Customers must verify the technical, working, and physical condition of all rented items and accessories at the time of pickup. The company is not responsible for issues reported later.

Extension Requests: Extension of the rental period must be requested at least 12 hours in advance (during working hours) and is subject to product availability. Only 1 day of extension is allowed at a time.

Late Returns: If a customer continues the rental period without requesting an extension or fails to respond to our calls/messages, they are liable to pay 3-5 times the daily rental rate for each day of delay.

Legal Action: If a customer does not return the product within 12 hours of the agreed return time and fails to respond, we will take legal action, including tracking, filing an FIR, and publicly posting customer details on social media.
5. Damages, Loss of Items & Exchanges

Damage Liability: If any product or accessory is returned damaged or in a condition different from when it was rented, the customer must pay repair costs based on an invoice from the authorized service center of the respective brand.

Lost Accessories: If an accessory is lost or cannot be repaired/replaced, the customer must pay the current market price of the entire product.
-
Exchanges: If a customer exchanges any product or accessory with their own, they must pay a refundable security deposit. The company will hold the customer’s item until the original rented product is returned.
6. Footage Data Copying

Customer Responsibility: Customers must copy their footage data themselves during the rental period. We do not take responsibility for copying data or any data loss, card malfunctions, viruses, or connectivity issues.

Check SD Cards at Pickup: Customers should check the condition of SD cards and ensure they have the necessary devices (laptop, card reader) to transfer footage before starting their shoot.

Data Recovery & Card Return: Cards must be returned with the camera. If not, the customer must pay the current market price for a replacement. Cards that have undergone data recovery are not accepted for return.
7. Pricing, Quotations, Discounts & Invoices

Price Validity: Price quotes provided have limited validity. Prices, quotations, and discounts vary by product category, season, and availability.

No Credit System: We do not offer credit or payment-due systems. All payments must be completed in full before or at the time of return.
-
Excluding GST: Prices listed on our website and social media exclude GST, which is charged at 18% on the total taxable value.

Invoice Generation: Invoices will be generated in the name of the registered customer only. B2B or company-named billing requests must be made before the rental order is placed.
-
Invoice Generating: Invoices for rental orders will be generated once after the order is closed without any dues.
8. Rental Time Calculation

A day (24 hours) is not the same for rental day and every product category. Rental periods vary by product type (basic, mid-range, full-frame cameras, etc.). Customers should not assume a 24-hour day applies to all products.
9. Ownership: Ownership of all the equipment all the time remains with Capture Cams Productions Private Limited.
